Q1. How do we sell flat to new buyer if we do not have chain of agreement ? we had inherited from our parents flat. after he passed away. we could not find chain of agreement and also not on society record. what is the proceedure as it was purchased by parents in 1985. how do we sale to new buyer.

There must be some document with you else how can you say that you have inherited the flat ? The new buyer will surely require three chain of documents and that too the original documents else who will buy such property without documents ? No buyer will take risk of buying property without original documents as there is probability of litigation if the original documents are in possession of some other person.
Q2. Repair of leakages from bathroom, who is responsible to get leakage repair in society flats ? What is society bye laws for leakage from above flat? There is a leakage in the ceiling of bathroom of the flat (501) below my flat(601). I’ve not carried out any repairs/alterations/modifications and the leakage started automatically. who is responsible for leakage in flat above ?, the cooperative housing society or me?
