Q1. Gift deed from son to father of residencial property. I need to transfer property ownership in Maharashtra, via gift deed to my father. Is it possible? And what stamp duty and taxation it can attract?

since it is a transfer from son to father it attracts two percent or one percent of stamp duty in addition to the drafting charges. the registration charges are usually around 15000 for a gift deed. You can do it ASAP since the stamp duty is set to increase from april
Q2. All assets dividation in between family members. We are 5 legal heirs after our father died last year. Mother, two brothers two sisters. Father left us one house which is in his own name That we live in , two other property’s one is agriculture land and one plot which is in my elder brother’s name purchased by my father. 4 FD’s and some gold.therefore we have decided all money,gold will be used for my sister’s marriage. the house ,agriculture land and plot property will be divided among us two brothers equally.how can I legalize it.
